C / Embedded Systems & IoT
Connect the physical world to intelligent software.
We start with operating requirements: what must be measured or controlled, how quickly the system must respond, where it will run and what should happen when power or connectivity fails. Electronics, embedded control, telemetry and platform software are developed around those constraints, with deliberate interfaces and whole-system verification.
From sensor behaviour and firmware timing to data integrity, device security and remote diagnostics, we consider how each decision affects the complete connected system. The aim is hardware and software that work reliably together in the conditions they were built for.
Build a Connected SystemSome customers prefer to host and run their own platforms, and we engineer to fit those environments — that will always be respected. But a connected estate does not have to stop at a dashboard on somebody's server. HHRL also operates HHRLworld IoT Core, our own master control platform for connected devices, and it stretches what a device and a system can do well beyond the usual sensor-and-dashboard functionality.
IoT Core is a multi-tenant command platform built on the same systems engineering we apply to hardware: every customer receives their own branded portal, their own users and their own hard data boundary, provisioned from a single master tier instead of rebuilt from scratch. Devices carry their own identity and credentials, unknown hardware cannot join the estate, and every action is recorded in an auditable, tenant-scoped trail.
In practice this means remote monitoring and control across an entire fleet — power, doors, temperature, battery, signal and position, refreshed continuously — with remote commands, firmware rollout, RFID access control with instant revocation, and role-based governance that scales from a single site to a national estate. It is the platform half of the connected system, already built, hardened and running — so your devices arrive with infrastructure behind them, not just firmware inside them.
